In October and November White Horses is promoting and sponsoring Parkinson’s Awareness. We have new Art from Daniel Scharf and a New Dinner Menu. We are hosting two Events to Benefit Parkinson's Disease - a Wine Dinner on the 15th October and a Wine and Hors D'Oeuvres Reception on the 3rd November 2008.
Firstly we would like to reassure you that although our Landlord is selling the ground floor of our building, White Horses has 21 years left on our lease. The proposed sale of the real estate will not have an effect on us.
Our New Menu features Lobster Thermidor, Tropical Swordfish, A Greek Mezze Platter, a Trio of Red Meat as well as some exciting Apps, Desserts and other Entrees. The food and wines are presented in an ambience created by the wonderful Artwork of Daniel Scharf, Dan, although only 54, has been combating Parkinson’s for four years now. His Art is both vivacious and inspirational.
On the 15th October (a Wednesday) we are pleased to offer our Wine Dinner to benefit Parkinson's. We have some exciting, premium Wines all made by Austin Hope of Paso Robles, California. His most famous wines are the Treana Red and White which he has invested a lot of time and effort in. Our Guest Speaker is Marcelino Cosio of the Estates Group. The format is seven small courses paired with 6 fabulous Wines from Austin Hope Wineries.50% of the proceeds from the evening will go to the Orange County Chapter. The menu appears at the end of this email. There is one Seating at 6.30pm. Reservations Only. The price is $85 per person. Gratuity is added at 20% and tax at the prevailing rate.
Wine and Hors D'Oeuvres Reception on the 3rd November 2008 is a Charity Event, benefiting Parkinson's, to introduce the Artwork of Daniel Scharf. This event will be sponsored by Monkey Bay Wines of New Zealand and we (White Horses) are passing an exciting, imaginative array of appetisers
